Boise may be known for its mountains, greenbelt, and vibrant community, but one of the city’s best-kept secrets is its coffee scene. Whether you’re looking for a cozy corner to edit photos, a spot to meet friends, or just the perfect latte, Boise has a little something for everyone. Because coffee orders are very customizable and personal, I should probably let you know now that I love iced coffee and lattes. I’ll take a black cold brew or a 12oz triple shot iced latte over a milky coffee flavored drink. That being said- here are my favorite coffee shops in Treasure Valley.

The Roosevelt Market
Walking into The Roosevelt Market feels like stepping back in time, in the best way. This neighborhood spot is part café, part old-school market, and entirely charming. Grab a cup of coffee, pick up some local goods, and settle into the cozy vibe. It’s not just about the coffee (though that’s great too)—their sandwiches and salads are delicious as well. Make sure to try their soft serve and Star Ship Cookie.
Monday-Saturday 7:30am-7pm
Sunday 7:30am-6pm
311 N. Elm Avenue, Boise, ID 83712
Hyde Perk
Hyde Perk Coffee House is family owned and operated in the historic Hyde Park district in the North End of Boise. Their coffee is great and they have a variety of baked items, as well as a few sandwich options.
1507 N 13th St, Boise, ID, United States
The Flying M
The Flying M is a staple in Boise, with locations also in Caldwell and Nampa. The Flying M roasts their coffee in house, makes their bakery items from scratch and also has a gift shop. A favorite with the locals, The Flying M has been voted Best of Boise (coffee) in the Boise Weekly for over a decade.
Coffee with a Twist
With its house made syrups, Coffee with a Twist is quickly becoming popular. In addition to their coffee, the “twist” pastries are a standout and come in decadent flavors such as cinnamon, ham & Swiss, orange almond, and seasonal varieties. If you’re lucky enough to be there when they have the dark chocolate and pischatio twist, do not skip it! The inside of the shop is truly Instagram worthy.
Monday- Saturday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, closed on Sundays
2475 S Apple St, Ste 101, Boise, ID 83706
Push & Pour
With coffee roasted on site, Push and Pour is a bright, modern coffeehouse nestled in the Boise area, known for its welcoming vibe and community. They have 3 locations in the Boise area. The Garden City and Latah locations serve food, including breakfast sandwiches and a breakfast burrito.
Certified Kitchen & Bakery
A few doors down from Hyde Perk, is a snug, stylish bakery filled with charm and enough deliciousness to make any morning brighter. The Certified Kitchen & Bakery was founded by the same group that opened The Roosevelt Market. Here you can find the same Star Ship cookie and coffee but different food options. You also cannot beat the location, where you can stroll the Hyde Park neighborhood with an iced latte in hand.
1511 N 13th St, Boise, ID 83702
Open daily 8:00- 4:00 pm
There you have it! My current go-to coffee shops in and around Boise. Do you have a favorite coffee shop that isn’t on my list? I’d love to hear about it, especially if they have house made syrups.
